Allianz Ireland Gains 80% Increase in Efficiency
Allianz Ireland is one of Ireland’s largest indigenous multi-line general insurance companies. In its effort to provide truly interactive, multi-step e-commerce processes while streamlining internal and external processes, Allianz Ireland implemented TIBCO Staffware Process Suite™. They used the software to integrate internal and external processes into a streamlined claims processing method and integrate their BPM and document management systems. The deployment resulted in an 80 percent increase in efficiency that cut claims processing times from weeks to days and information reloads from 30 minutes to 30 seconds.
Daisy Brand Uses TIBCO BPM to Improve Agility
TIBCO’s BPM software enables Daisy Brand to automate its order-to-delivery business processes, which reduces errors, keeps shipments moving on time, and provides relevant metrics to customers. The solution helps the company to more flexibly respond to customer requests. For example, a retail customer might change an order after the order is sent to the warehouse—perhaps to request that the order ship on a different day or with a different amount. In these cases, the TIBCO-based system sends an alert to the logistics management workbench to immediately notify the warehouse that the order has been modified. Thus, the logistics team can quickly implement the change, ensuring minimum impact on the order cycle time. TIBCO’s also integrates with in-house applications and provides reusable functionality that enables small development teams to be more productive, saving Daisy Brand time and money.
DVLA Drives 50% Increase in Productivity
The UK Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) maintains registrations of drivers and vehicles. In trying to support millions of registrations and transactions every year, DVLA needed to update its old system because it was unreliable, wouldn’t scale to meet demands, and couldn’t share information between departments.
To fix these problems they deployed TIBCO Staffware Process Suite™ to streamline the handling of registrations and flag registrations that have exceptions relating to medical conditions.
DVLA found the new TIBCO system more sustainable and reliable, and discovered that it enabled a single view of the agency so information could be easily shared among departments. The deployment increased case management productivity by 50 percent, cut training of new staff from two weeks to two days, and the number of calls in to the support center decreased significantly as customer service improved.
